It gently turns the user to 13 degrees — a clinically comfortable angle — in one direction every 10 minutes, completing a full 30-minute left, flat, and right lateral cycle. This controlled movement supports pressure area management, assists pulmonary blood flow, and reduces the manual handling demands placed on care staff.

The mattress uses air cells enclosed within a four-way stretch cover, with castellated foam incorporated within the cells. This construction means the mattress can also operate as a static high-risk mattress when the dynamic function is switched off, removing the need to transfer the patient to a different product. Simple side-mounted controls allow carers to switch between lateral rotation, dynamic alternating, and static modes, or to run lateral and dynamic functions simultaneously.

High-density foam bolster walls surround the air cells, protecting the user from rolling during lateral rotation and, for many users, eliminating the need for cot sides.
