The Adjustable Bed Grab Rail Ultra is designed specifically for electric adjustable beds. Unlike standard grab rings, which move with the bed when you change position, this grab rail attaches to the static side of the bed surround and remains fixed in place. That makes it far easier to get in and out of bed, turn whilst lying down, and rise from a seated position on the edge.

Fitting is straightforward. The bottom half clamps to the inside of the bed surround using a U-grip; the top half secures to the static part of the mechanism with a simple twisting knob. Both fitting types are supplied with every grab rail ultra, so it will suit your bed without any guesswork. The grab rail also includes a holder for your remote control.

To determine which model is right for you, measure the height of the side panel of your bed — the surround to which the grab rail will attach. The standard model suits surround heights of 8–16 inches. The short model is designed for beds with a surround height of 6–8 inches, typically beds on legs.

The grab rail ultra is compatible with most divan adjustable beds (slatted or otherwise), most wooden surrounds, and Laybrook leather beds without drawers. It is not compatible with the Abbeyglen, Asten, metal beds, the Car-Bed, or care home beds.

Dimensions: 19.5 inches (49.5 cm) high from the platform base; 9 inches (23 cm) wide. Surround thickness must not exceed 1 inch.
