The Anti-Entrapment Feature has safety at its heart. Laybrook has developed this product specifically to work with its vertical lifting frame mechanisms, addressing a key concern for people with reduced mobility and their carers.

If anything were to become trapped between the mechanism and another surface whilst the bed is being lowered, sensors positioned on the side lengths of the mechanism will detect the obstruction and immediately reverse the motors — even with the slightest pressure. The bed will raise back up, freeing whatever has been caught.

This feature must be ordered with a Laybrook adjustable bed fitted with a vertical lifting frame mechanism.
