The Slide-Back Mechanism is a wall-hugging upgrade for Laybrook adjustable beds. As the bed raises, the mechanism slides backwards, positioning you up to 10 inches closer to your bedside table — making it easier to reach a glass of water, a book or a telephone without having to stretch.

The mechanism is particularly well suited to bedrooms where space is at a premium. Because the bed slides back as it raises rather than tilting forward, the headboard remains close to the wall throughout the full range of motion, so there is no need to keep the bed away from the wall.

This upgrade must be ordered with an adjustable bed. It is available across most Laybrook bed sizes and carries a five-year guarantee on all mechanisms.
